Wally

[ADOPTED]

[Adopted] Wally (Male) 10 years

Wally lives in Wally’s world. Despite being trained to stay off the furniture, Wally still thinks of himself as a lap dog. Never one to miss an opportunity to go crazy when humans arrive back home from work, he has a lot of love to give. He exhibits typical small-dog syndrome and will never miss an opportunity to bark at dogs of all shapes and sizes. Wally’s ideal home would be one where the household has previous experience owning a dog. Preferably no birds, as catching (or barking) at them is his favorite sport. Wally invites humans into his personal space at his discretion and would therefore be better suited to families with older children who can identify his boundaries. Wally is an incredibly independent dog and while he always wants to be a part of the family activities, he does not need constant reassurance or company of other dogs to be content - rather choosing to sit alongside you or partake in any activities like pottering in the garden or helping you unwrap your presents. He enjoys walks and car rides to the beach.

Wally is neutered, has his vet card, house trained, does NOT like cats, is good with other dogs and children. He is a physically fit and energetic dog for his age. He has a sensitive skin that could occasionally result in him needing cortisone tablet or injection.
